Processing, Shipping & Delivery

We want you to receive your Harper Ellis products quickly and with confidence. Below you’ll find a detailed breakdown of our processing timelines, shipping methods, delivery expectations to help you plan your orders effectively.

Order Processing Times

  • Processing time: Time between placing the order and when it leaves our warehouse.
  • Shipping time: Transit time between warehouse departure and your delivery address.

Tracking Shipments

Once your shipping label is created, you’ll receive tracking by email. It may take 24–48 hours to reflect tracking updates on the UPS website. We cannot guarantee that UPS accurately tracks your order. 

Shipping Methods & Timeframes

  • UPS Ground Shipping: UPS Ground Shipping generally takes 1-7 business days, which varies by distance and location. We do not currently offer weekend delivery options.
  • UPS 2nd Day Air: UPS 2nd Day Air generally takes 2 business days for delivery but is based on UPS operational capacity. Saturday delivery is at UPS discretion. 
  • UPS Next Day Air: UPS Next Day generally results in delivery the next business day after your purchase order but is based on UPS operational capacity. Saturday delivery is at UPS discretion. 

NOTE:

  • The shipping times above do not include processing time.
  • Some items are only available within the Continental (48) U.S. states.
  • Weather-related shipping delays are not within the control of Harper Ellis Hair Co.

Delivery Limitations

While we try to accommodate your needs as much as we can, delivery is not guaranteed and is based on UPS operational capacity. UPS delivery days (including weekend and holidays) are determined by UPS and may vary depending on:

  • Delivery schedules
  • Delivery address (residential vs. commercial)
  • Weather conditions
  • Holiday closures or peak shipping seasons
  • Service disruptions beyond carrier control. 

To avoid delays, we recommend placing orders early and selecting expedited services for time-sensitive deliveries. Please ensure your address on file for any order is correct to avoid discrepancies that could result in delays or orders delivered to incorrect addresses. 

Please note: UPS does not ship on the following holidays:

  • New Year’s Day (January 1)
  • Martin Luther King Jr. Day (January 19)
  • Independence Day (July 4)
  • Thanksgiving Day (November 26)
  • Christmas Day (December 25)

We do not actively track all holidays that UPS observes, please refer to the UPS website for the most accurate information. 

Returns & Exchanges

At Harper Ellis, we take pride in offering professional-quality hair extensions and products. To ensure fairness and protect the integrity of our brand, we’ve outlined the following return and exchange guidelines.

We’re happy to consider requests for returns or exchanges within 30 days of receiving your order. To be eligible, items and products must be unopened, unworn, and untampered with, and the black security band must remain intact. Once the band has been broken or removed, we cannot accept the product for sanitary reasons. Requests made after 30 days cannot be accepted.

All approved returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee, and customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
Some items and products are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded. These include: (i) Digital products; (ii) Education and event purchases (non-refundable and non-transferable); (iii) Color rings; and (iv) items and products included in a sale. 
Orders canceled before shipping are subject to a 5% transaction fee.

Performance of hair extensions may vary by individual, hair type, and installation method. We cannot replace products that have been discolored or damaged due to sunscreen, chlorine, saltwater, hair coloring, toning, or purple shampoos.

To request a return or exchange, please email support@harperellishair.com with your order number, and if approved we will send you shipping information.

60 Day Promise

If a manufacturing issue is reported within 60 days of purchase and confirmed by our team, a solution may be provided at our discretion. Manufacturing issue claims are not eligible for refunds and are handled separately from our standard return policy.

Final Sale Items

Select items and products are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded. These include digital products, education and event purchases, color rings, and items and products included in a sale. For more details, view our return policy.

Rescheduling Workshops

Purchasers may request to reschedule any class, workshop, or educational offering up to thirty (30) days prior to the scheduled start date. This includes situations where additional time is needed to complete prerequisites, submit required work, provide required information, or satisfy any other participation or eligibility requirements applicable to the class or event.

Requests to reschedule made more than thirty (30) days prior to the scheduled start date may be approved at no additional cost, subject to availability.

Requests to reschedule made within thirty (30) days of the scheduled start date may be approved only upon payment of a rescheduling fee equal to ten percent (10%) of the then-current purchase price. If an in-person reschedule is not available within this timeframe, the Purchaser may be required to convert to an online or virtual format, if applicable.

Each purchase is eligible for one (1) reschedule only. Any additional changes, failures to attend, or inability to participate after the reschedule will require the Purchaser to make a new purchase at the then-current price.

All purchases are non-refundable. No refunds, credits, chargebacks, or reversals will be issued for any reason, including but not limited to scheduling conflicts, failure to complete prerequisites, inability to attend, or changes in personal or business circumstances.

If required prerequisites, submissions, or participation requirements are not completed by the deadlines communicated to you related to the applicable class or event, we reserve the right to move the Purchaser to a later class date or offering. Any such administrative reschedule initiated by us due to incomplete prerequisites may be subject to a rescheduling fee equal to ten percent (10%) of the then-current purchase price.
