In this spotlight, we chat with Oklahoma-based Harper Ellis hairstylist, Hayle Hendrix. We’re learning all about her career in styling as well as her experience with Harper Ellis hair!
Hi Hayle! Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?
Hi, I’m Hayle Hendrix! I have been in the hair industry for nine years, and I specialize in custom colors and luxurious hand-tied extensions. I’m a former NFL, Denver Broncos Cheerleader as well as a former NBA, Oklahoma City Thunder Girl. Since living in Oklahoma City and Denver, I planted my roots here in Owasso, Oklahoma where I currently work at Le Petit Salon.
We would love to know what’s brought you to where you are now! What can you tell us about your career as a hairstylist?
I have always loved working with hair extensions and after attending the Harper Ellis Academy in February, I decided to solely specialize in color and extensions! I strive to always be at the top of my industry and am always learning new techniques to bring back to my clientele. My hard work, ability to build a professional rapport with my clients, and always ensuring my guests to have an amazing experience have gotten me to where I am today.
Can you tell us why you choose to use hand-tied hair extensions and why you use Harper Ellis’s hair?
I started using other methods of extensions years ago and when hand-tied came out, I had to learn! Hand-tied extensions are the safest, healthiest, and best method on the market.
