Our CEO + Founder, Terra Harvell, created the Harper Ellis Method after years of practice and learning other methods. With clients traveling in from all over the country, Terra needed something that was reliable and stayed in their hair until they came back for a move up. With the Harper Ellis Method, we’ve seen clients go 8-10 weeks or even longer before needing a move up! Our Method requires less maintenance and is super long-lasting!

Another huge reason that Terra created the Method was that she noticed constant sore spots on her clients’ scalps from other methods. As someone with very fine hair herself, Terra hated seeing hair extensions causing hair loss for clients. It’s the last thing any stylist wants!

Again, as a fined haired girl herself, Terra always found it very hard to hide the beads once she pulled her own hair extensions up into a pony tail. And fun, up-do styles? Forget it! Other methods were making it impossible to style her hair!
Creating a method that “conceals" the beads was super important to Terra and our team. We teach our ELITE Stylists how to hide the beads so that no one will be able to tell you’re wearing extensions. Plus, our Harper Ellis hair is made with hand-tied wefts rather than machine-made wefts, so they are super narrow, light, and lie flat with your own hair. As a hair extensions expert, Terra has a very high traffic extensions clientele. She typically will see seven to nine hair extensions clients a day. A method that was simple and quick to put in was important. In our advanced classes, one of the focuses is SPEED so that you can book more clients and make more money behind the chair!
