Terra here. I’m so excited to share my latest product discoveries regarding hand-tied hair, just in time for summer!
Like we’ve discussed recently, some of our clients’ hair tends to be drier than others. This is to be expected. Everyone’s hair varies — and just like with your natural hair, you shouldn’t only use ONE kind of shampoo or conditioner, all of the time.
ESPECIALLY in the summer months.
If you’re like me, you probably spend a lot of time outdoors and maybe even on the water. All of this fun in the sun can result in your locks needing some extra love.
So, in preparation for the warmer months, my team & I experimented with various products! We tested some of my old extensions from other brands that I had lost hope of restoring long ago. However, to our pleasant surprise — we found something that DOES successfully transform thirsty extensions!
AND THESE PRODUCTS ARE…
The ORIGINAL line from Brazilian Blowout including the shampoo, conditioner, & açaí moisture mask!
This system features breathable silicone — WHOA, what?! Yes. I said silicone. However, just like alcohol… not all silicone is created equally. This is NOT the silicone coating that other extension companies use on their hair to make it seem smooth. BREATHABLE silicone still allows the extensions to “breathe” but it also helps seal in the moisture that the summer months can rob from all of us.
Other products that we are LOVING from this system include the Brazilian Blowout Ionic Spray (which acts like a leave-in conditioner), the Açaí Daily Smoothing Serum and the Shine & Shield Shine Spray (but be sure to use the spray with a light hand, friends!)
And did I mention… they smell phenomenal!
