HI AMI! CAN YOU TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOURSELF?
Ami Kristin is my name, painting manes is my game. I’m fueled by passion and pretty hair.
I’m the creative, business girl that thinks she can do it all: business owner, social media enthusiast and full time artist behind the chair. I live for Ami Kristin Studio. My team and all the bad ass babes I’ve met along the way define the true meaning to my why!

My intention to go to hair school was my one way ticket to the next level of life. I went to hair school with the goal of becoming a traveling stylist, paying my way through college with a PhD (Pretty hairDressing). I fell in love with the industry and here I am 10+ years later as a salon owner and full time artist. Creating an AK culture and every day vibe has become my true addiction. We describe each appointment as happy hour and that AK treatment!

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO OTHER STYLISTS AS WE ENTER A NEW YEAR?
What a crazy time to be alive. It’s unreal how limitless this industry really is. We work in a glass ceiling type career. My advice to all stylists is to stay hungry, be humble and remain close to the ones that make you feel the most alive. Listen to your gut and believe in yourself. Pray sis, pray.
TELL US SOMETHING YOU’RE REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO IN THE NEW YEAR.
I’m looking forward to growth and new opportunities in 2021. I feel like my team and I are ready to really set some new records. It has been an unprecedented year, but it has forced us to grow together and really appreciate what is truly important. We are fortunate to have significant demand, loyal clients, and referrals. Now is our opportunity to work hard, grow personally and professionally, and deliver for our clients. In 2021, we will work harder, grow one another, and celebrate success together. We also look forward to all the new relationships we make this year. We are ready to make it count.
